Acaí has been claimed to be so powerful that it can even kill cancer apart from slowing down the ageing process and accelerating weight loss. All of these claims may be true, however, no proper controlled study could back up these claims as yet.
In comparison, blueberries do not require traveling thousands of kilometres in powder form to get to your health shop, rather are available fresh at least for 3 months per year and frozen all year round. Additionally, much more research can be found to substantiate the claims for the health benefits derived from blueberries.
