With summer in full swing you’re most likely doing your best to maintain a leaner look, rightly so gracing your audience every time you walk down the beach.
It is a known fact that in order to drop body fat levels one will need to tighten up on carb consumption, which is no mean feat considering that many foods around us are rich in carbs. Speaking of which, bread is protagonist number one.
Enter the Mirror Friendly Low-Carb Bread…

With the vast majority of bread products being high in carb content (without going into the topic of ‘wheat flour’, which is unfortunately present in most breads), we have tailored a low-carb yet delicious alternative which fits those of you trying to reduce their carb consumption or perhaps even on a keto mission.
Made from coconut flour, this bread is easily digestible, gluten-free and also suitable for those having a nut-allergy.
The following ingredients were used to make around 12 servings of Mirror Friendly low-carb bread:

– 70g coconut flour
– 2.5g salt (¼ teaspoon)
– 5 whole eggs
– 125g melted butter (½ cup)
– 2.5g baking soda (¼ teaspoon)
Step by step instructions in preparing the Mirror Friendly low-carb bread:
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and grease the bread mould with butter.
- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Add butter and eggs to the dry ingredients.
- Pour your batter in the pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes.

Note: Enjoy a serving or two as a snack between meals or top up with a few slices of avocado for a delicious breakfast!
The approximate nutritional values per serving of low-carb bread based on the above ingredients are:
Calories: 127 kcal
Protein: 3.5g
Carbohydrates: 3.5g
of which fibre: 2g
of which sugar: 0.5g (Note: naturally occurring sugars from dates)
Fats: 11g (Note: no trans fats in here)
