Summer is on the way and you might have slowly started revisiting your daily calories, stripping them off from the additional comfortable winter carbs. Alternatively, it might be your rest day and you might equally want to stay light on carbs. But you may be thinking, what’s breakfast without the all-time favourite king of carbs, oats?
Enter the Mirror Friendly Sweet Omelette with Raspberry Topping…
If you’re looking for a breakfast alternative which is just as delicious as your morning porridge but more in line with your fat loss goals, this is one good option. There is also no harm in having it as a snack. No, losing fat does not have to be a boring regimental process and one can still achieve this flexibly.
The following ingredients were used to make one sweet omelette:
– 2 large eggs
– 1 scoop whey protein powder
– 1 teaspoon unsweetened cacao powder
– 50g blueberries
– 50g raspberries
– coconut oil (to grease the pan)
Step by step instructions in preparing the sweet omelette with raspberry topping:
1) Preheat a pan. Beat the eggs and mix them with ½ scoop whey protein powder.
2) Grease the pan with coconut oil and pour the egg and protein powder mixture. Top it up with blueberries and cook until you obtain desired texture.
3) In the meantime heat up the raspberries (you can use a microwave) until soft. Mix them with the remaining ½ scoop of protein powder and cacao powder and stir well.
4) Place omelette on a plate and top it neatly up with your raspberry topping.
